Hello, I'm Florencia but my family call me Floppy.

I'm a 48 years old Argentinian single mum who fell in love with an English man in Peru a few years ago. So... here I am, living in Bosham UK!

I've been in the beauty and fashion business for 29 years I've always been very passionate about it and I still am.

I remember a Sunday spring morning, I was about 8 or 10 years old,  my mother was driving me and my eldest sister (I'm the youngest of 3 sisters) to buy a special lunch for the family when I saw  a stunning woman in her 20's , waiting to cross the street. She had long wavy blond hair, she was wearing a pair of jeans with a marvelous big jumper in very vibrating colours. I thought I wanted to look like her when I grew up and, I think this "insignificant" event in my life, marked me strongly enough to dedicate my life to the fashion business.

Therefor I started to study hair styling. At the age of 19 I was already working and a few years after a new career appeared... fashion consultancy. The more I studied any of this subjects the more I knew it was the right path for me and my dream was to have the best salon ever.
So, the most clever thing to do was to learn everything regarding beauty and fashion, that's why I also studied manicure, makeup, skin care and even how to develop hair care products. As I said before... I'm very passionate about this business.

I moved to Peru at the age of 26 and opened a salon, a year after I opened my second and ended having a chain of four salons. To be honest I didn't enjoy it that much as I felt I was not doing what I loved the most (client service) but I was doing a lot of paperwork instead. Years of stress after I decided to go back to the basics: one salon with the best service ever and that's how my salon was in the top 3 of Lima Peru.

I was very lucky to work with the best artists, actors, actresses, designers, singers... and I'm very proud to call many of them friends.

I've been in Bosham for a year and a half now and the idea of starting a blog about fashion hit me last Friday when I was in Tesco. A sweet lady stoped me and told me that I looked fabulous. You know when you are having a very, very bad day and suddenly everything seems clear and easy again?! Well, this lovely stranger had that effect on me and also made me realize that I should get on the back of the horse again and ride.

Here I am, for all of you lovely women (40/50+) who want to show how beautiful you are inside outs. My intention is that you can express who you are through your look, have fun, feel pretty, elegant, confident and own yourself.
